#ReadThemAllThon came to a close yesterday. I didn’t get as much read as I’d hoped, thanks to work and the start of the semester. Here are my final stats (Dratini got to evolve once), and three short reviews (Song of the North, The Girl on the Train, and Lagoon) to wrap up the readathon.
This post marks the end of yet another readathon. Justin woke up in time to finish the last hour with me. Dog is present but unconscious, sleeping upside down on the couch. This is my final update, and the end-of-event survey hosted by the main site.
The spring 2016 readathon has now officially ended, and with it this mini-challenge. Thank you to everyone who participated! I’ll be selecting and contacting the winner later today!
The husband and the dog both crashed in hour 20 and went to bed. For a while, it was touch-and-go for me, too. Fortunately I rallied, and I am back to steadfast reading. Going to finish this thing strong.
The lasagna was delicious, in case you were wondering. :)
It’s now 6 pm in California. We’ve passed the halfway mark, lasagna is in the oven for dinner, and I’m loving Mieville. I’ve also just put the finishing touches on my mini-challenge post, which will go live in hour 22!
Eight hours down, sixteen to go! I’ve been joined in reading by my husband and a friend. We are sitting on the patio in companionable silence, ignoring one another in favor of books. The introverted bookworm’s dream social gathering.
This update is a little late. A lot late. I meant to post it two hours ago. I suppose it shouldn’t come as any surprise that I got caught up and lost track of time.
